Get to Know Me
I am a 27 year old Jesus follower, TJ maxx shopper, dessert lover, Friends watcher, and national park enthusiast!
When I am not investing in my clients or business, I am serving our nation's veterans as a Registered Nurse. Being a nurse has it challenges and stressors like anything else, but after establishing myself as a nurse in 2019, I could sense a deep longing for a creative outlet. So that's where Mary Beth Isbell Photography was created!
My photography adventure began in 2020 after Brady and I tied the knot. That's right! We were a covid couple. We had planned for a wedding with a 125+ guests, but with legal regulations in place, we were forced to have a small, intimate wedding with 25 of our closest friends and family. It was honestly a blessing in disguise. Our intimate ceremony allowed us to experience Jesus like never before. His divine presence was felt by all.
All that to say, your wedding is no one's, but YOURS! If a traditional wedding is causing you stress and not producing joy and excitement, maybe opt for a small, intimate wedding or elopement! There are no rules when it comes to your wedding. My biggest piece of advice is to stay true to your desires and vision.
I want to be your cheerleader, advisor, and hype girl as you plan your dream wedding whether that be on a cliffside in Ireland, at the base of the Grand Tetons, or in your mother's backyard!
My Approach to Photography
Story Teller.
My heart when photographing couples is to tell each story in its own unique and beautiful way. My photos capture the genuine emotion and personalities in a way that enables you to remember how the moment felt!
Naturally Authentic.
Natural, authentic posing and prompts is my favorite style of photography. No more stiff prom pics over here. We opt for more tickles, eskimo kisses, and impromptu laughter over here!
It's all about relationships.
I want to be your friend! The best part of being a photographer is connecting with my clients as friends. I want to support, serve, and give you the best client experience, and learning about you helps me do just that!
